Once in a while there are people on flickr who post pictures that I would pick as a favourite every time. Janne Parviainen is one of them. He paints with light and the photography resulting from that is just incredible. I let the results speak for themselves.

Lernen mit dem iPad?

Man liest es allenthalben: Lernen mit dem iPhone und iPad ist der ganz heiße Scheiß. Überall (hier, hier und hier) werden Seminare, Workshops und Fortbildungen angeboten, wie man die Apple Geräte für das Lernen nutzt, oder es wird gleich in der Lehre eingesetzt. Mobile Learning, Personal Learning Environment sind die Stichworte schlechthin. Schön und gut. Aber warum muss man immer wieder die Abhängigkeit von gewissen Geräten propagieren, wenn es ums E-Learning geht? Geräte-unabhängiges E-Learning wäre doch viel besser, oder etwa nicht?

Last week, in my course Presenting Content there was one moment when we got it all right. We had a look at several websites in order to check whether they were designed well or not. One of the pages was the Apple.com homepage, which at the time featured the new MacBook Air and had a colorless air to it (excuse the joke…).
